Jean-Philipp is a senior advisor and independent IC member at Vorsprung. He is the former Deputy Director(and co-founder at the European Investment Fund (EIF), where he has been overseeing EIF’s Lower Mid-Market Private Equity and Mezzanine Fund Investments activity and portfolio. He is managing programs for the European Investment Bank (EIB), the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) and LfA Förderbank Bayern, and for the European Commission. His professional background is Investment Banking and Long Term Credit within EIB (1995-2000) and Credit National (1984-1995). 

John serves as a Chairman and Senior to Vorsprung Partners, a North American and European partnership focused on investing with entrepreneurial, family-owned businesses. He is also Managing Partner at Neponset Bay Capital LP, a privately-owned investment fund focused on portfolios of real assets and venture capital since 2017. From 2003-2016, John managed over $1.3 billion in corporate and asset-based investments in the transport and forestry sectors as one of the founding partners of Wayzata Investment Partners.

Verne is a senior advisor at Vorsprung. He is specialised in raising public and private capital for corporate clients across equity, equity-linked and debt markets in London, Hong Kong and New York, ultimately serving as a Managing Director at JP Morgan Cazenove. Since 2012, he has focused on private equity capital raising, both as a GP and as an advisor to alternative asset managers. He was co-founder and Managing Partner of a Real Assets and Natural Resources GP that raised three private equity funds totalling over $3 billion, and has since provided advisory and placement services for a range of GP fundraises.
